Humanity First Organization in a non-governmental organization, founded and registered in 2014 in Kenya thanks to the Seed grants received from Akili Dada Organization and The Pollination Project. Humanity First Organization is funded by individual donors, trusts, corporations, foundations, national and international grants.

Gua Africa is looking for a volunteer fundraising assistant. The role includes supporting our Kenya Programme Coordinator to research possible funding within Kenya and assist putting together funding proposals. The volunteer needs to be able to travel freely around Nairobi, including working outside of office hours, depending on the requirements of the Kenya Programme Coordinator

Volunteer Nation is a program that seeks to connect volunteers to organizations that need additional human resources.

Long Term Volunteer ship (Please check our Directory for opportunities)

The Long Term Volunteer ship program pairs a volunteer to an organization that serves their community and is in need of additional human resources. This is a tailored 8 month volunteer program for youth who reside in the volunteer area. These youth must have completed their secondary education to be considered for the volunteer program.
In addition to the work experience, the youth receive complementary training on subjects such as entrepreneurship and bookkeeping. At the end of the 8 month training those who qualify are linked to internships opportunities in their choice or close to their career field. Please review the training curriculum below./

NB: Curriculum is subject to change dependent on the level of skills of the youth volunteers.

Short Term Volunteer ship

This is tailored for any individual person in Kenya who wishes to volunteers from hours to months in any listed volunteer site.
Please check database for availability and qualifications for each volunteer position.

10,000 Reasons

10,000 Reasons is a 10,000 KSH loan offered with 0% interest, to qualified Long Term Volunteer alumnae.

This is a loan that helps the volunteer alumnae start a business of their choice, until they grow to capabilities to qualify for government loans such as the Youth Enterprise Development Fund.

Wish List

This is a program that seeks to fundraise for local organizations in Kenya within the volunteer program, to build their organization’s capacity with e.g., infrastructure, office equipment.
